George Lopez Blames 'Unruly' Crowd After Ending Show Early, Venue Disputes the Claims

George Lopez ended a comedy show early over the weekend and he’s in a dispute with the venue over the reason for the abrupt ending.

The beloved comedian performed a set at California’s Eagle Mountain Casino on Friday (June 7) and he walked off stage 30 minutes before he was supposed to end the show.

The venue posted on Facebook saying that George “let down his fans and sold out audience by walking out and ending his show 30 minutes early.” George‘s team responded in a statement. Keep reading to find out more… “It’s the venue or casino’s job to provide a good experience for both the artist and the fans, but the casino failed in this regard,” a rep told The New York Post. “The audience was overserved and unruly, and the casino staff was unable to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for the artist and guests.

George’s personal security team worked with the venue security staff to maintain order, ensure safety, and eject disruptive individuals.” The rep added, “Unfortunately, the casino security team was not adequate to accomplish this task.
