Frank Skinner details apology from Sophie Wessex after she said 'don't give up the day job'

The comedian, 66, shared the fallout on Monday morning's Lorraine, hosted by Ranvir Singh. Frank detailed the incident at last year's Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall, after which Sophie approached him and told him not to "give up the day job" following his performance of Three Lions with David Baddiel. I did the London Palladium on Sunday'." The story shocked former Good Morning Britain presenter Ranvir, who asked: "Did you actually have this real conversation with her, defending yourself?" "Yeah," Frank answered. "There was a slight sense in her expression of, 'You're not supposed to argue with me, just nod', but I think it was a misunderstanding." Frank went on to explain that following the awkward encounter, he got a note through the post from Sophie herself apologising.
