Barons Quay could soon be welcoming a new tenant as the popular global gym brand, Snap Fitness, eyes a possible move to the retail park.
However, local councillor Lee Siddall is urging caution, highlighting that the deal has not yet been fully confirmed. Snap Fitness, a US-based health and fitness club with locations worldwide, including Europe, the USA, and Australia, has submitted a planning application to Cheshire West and Chester Council.
The plans detail new signage on one of the units at the bustling Northwich shopping and leisure venue. Acting on behalf of Snap Fitness, agents have requested internally illuminated letters on rails for Unit 7, along with an internally illuminated projection sign.
The planning department has also received an artist's impression of the proposed signage. Councillor Lee Siddall, representing Winnington and Castle Northwich, expressed his enthusiasm upon discovering the application, stating, "It's great to see that big global businesses are considering coming to Northwich, such as Snap 24/7 fitness.
