Adam Sandler's latest Netflix project has been hailed by fans as the platform's 'best animation ever made'. The new film, titled Leo, follows a school pet lizard - voiced by Sandler - who spirals into a midlife crisis after realising he only has a year left to live.

At 74 years old, Leo decides to leave his enclosure for good, but instead finds himself acting as a therapist for his troubled fifth grade students.

The film, which is co-written and co-produced by Sandler, also features his wife Jackie, and his daughters, Sunny and Sadie, who all voice characters.

Meanwhile Bill Burr voices class turtle, Squirtle, Rob Schneider plays the principal and Allison Strong is fifth-grade teacher Mrs Salinas.
