When you think of work, lounging in a hammock at an idyllic seaside resort probably isn't what comes to mind right away. However, for one month this could be exactly the case for a lucky social media ace as the Boardwalk Boutique Hotel in Aruba is on the hunt for an influencer.Last year the hotel hired Tess Gerdemann to carry out the exciting role after receiving thousands of applications, reports the Mirror.

"We can't wait to see what this year's content creator will come up with to showcase our hotel and our island."When asked of her time on the island and what she was expecting, Tess said: "I didn’t really have lot of expectations, instead I tried to just go with the flow."Geographically situated in the Caribbean and so far away from The Netherlands, it came as a surprise to me how 'Dutch' Aruba is and, at the same time, how a lot of people speak six languages."She added: "Every time I walk through the gate it’s so magical, Boardwalk feels like its own far-flung destination.
