Double-decker Stagecoach bus crashes into row of gardens in Ayrshire town

A Stagecoach bus has crashed into a row of gardens in a small town in North Ayrshire.The incident took place at around 10am on Wednesday, January 4 when the X36 service, bound for Glasgow, collided with a property in the Drakemyre area of Dalry.

It is understood a garden wall was damaged in the incident but nobody was injured.It is not known how many, if any, passengers were travelling on the bus at the time.

Police have confirmed a 51-year-old man has been reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with road traffic offences.

Footage taken at the scene from a passer-by, which was shared on social media, shows the double decker with its hazard lights on next to the garden wall.Further up the road, debris can be seen on the pavement, and a fence seems to have been flattened by the impact.
