The winner of our Father’s Day makeover competition enjoyed a day to remember.Jordan Mein, from Bathgate, enjoyed a special pampering day worth £500 courtesy of The Centre, Livingston. He was nominated by his fiancée Claire Renton, who said he’s the best-ever “doting dad” in the world to their two year old son Thomas.Hundreds of wonderful dads were nominated, making it tricky for the judges to choose a winner but Claire’s vote for Jordan stood out as she highlighted how her fiancée “does everything he can to provide for our little boy and totally deserves it”.Jordan, who couldn’t believe it when he found out, said it felt like “winning the lottery” as he’d never won anything like this before. His prize included being invited to the shopping centre and treated to a personal shopping experience with fashion stylist, Caroline Phipps, and presented with a £250 gift card to spend on a new summer wardrobe, which included a navy shirt from River Island, which was perfect for a forthcoming family party and a pair of beige cargo trousers to match, which really took him out of his comfort zone.He also picked up a new pair of jeans to help refresh his wardrobe and some new shorts and t-shirts from H&M, including one with an on-trend palm tree print.Next up was a visit to Jordan’s favourite footwear store, Schuh, where he couldn’t help noticing a pair of brown boots to go with his new jeans and with Caroline’s help and Claire, who joined him on the day for his special makeover, he snapped them up.As part of the prize Jordan was also treated to a fragrance experience with Fin from The Perfume Shop who chatted about different aftershaves and colognes and the various top notes and ingredients he likes.
