Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not been banned from a private members club near their family home in Montecito. Last week, Lady Victoria Hervey made the claims that the pair were barred from a swanky organisation, believed to be the $4,200-per-year San Vicente Bungalows, during an interview with GB News.

An insider has since told the news outlet that the couple are not banned despite allegations.Lady Victoria said on the show: "I heard from people in LA that they actually got barred." She claimed her friends in California told her the couple had been barred for allegedly arranging for photographers to wait outside the club for them. The socialite also claimed the Sussexes do "set-up shots" with paparazzi although her claims were disputed during the programme.

But the source says that these claims are rubbish and the Duke and Duchess are still "more than welcome" and went on to dismiss reports of any publicity setup. It is understood a separate private members club in Montecito is the source of the speculation, but this has not been confirmed.

San Vicente Bungalows is very strict on taking of photographs anywhere inside the club and are known to put stickers over camera phone lenses. It is also "strictly forbidden" for members and guests to discuss anything they witness during their visit. The club is a hotspot for A-List celebrities and the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Hailey Bieber have reportedly been spotted there.
