The more things change, the more they stay the same at Celtic and it's set to be a familiar-looking team who take to the pitch on Flag Day.Brendan Rodgers has stressed the need for quality but he's also asked fans to be patient on the transfer front and new arrivals have been few and far between so far.

He's shaken it up between the sticks with Kasper Schmeichel and Viljami Sinisalo to compete for the gloves, but outfield, it's only the return of Paulo Bernardo so far. That's expected to change in the weeks ahead but, for now, Rodgers has virtually the same squad from last season to call upon.

He will have to make do without Daizen Maeda due to an injury while it remains to be seen if Alistair Johnston will start so soon after returning to the squad from Copa America duties.

If he doesn't, Anthony Ralston will be more than happy to deputise at right-back.Cameron Carter-Vickers looks a stick-on to start while Liam Scales seems likely to continue as his partner although Stephen Welsh's impressive pre-season could give his manager a headache.
