Heather Graham hasn’t spoken to her parents in almost 30 years.Graham recalled leaving home at 18 to move to West Hollywood, California, to follow her dreams of becoming part of the entertainment industry. At the time, her father warned her that Hollywood would “claim [her] soul.”“He regularly told me that the entertainment industry was evil and that Hollywood would claim my soul,” Graham said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. She noted that her parents “were part of a generation that didn’t believe in therapy or discussing personal things, so I never felt I could talk to them.”Following the premiere of her movie “License to Drive” in 1988, Graham knew it was time to move out of her parents’ home.“When the movie came out, I was 18, living at home had become more difficult,” she said.

Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis definitely not in ‘Beetlejuice’ sequel, reason explained: ‘A loophole’
had been revealed about Tim Burton’s latest movie “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” in the lead-up to its Venice Film Festival on Wednesday night. But one long-assumed rumor has been confirmed by reports out of the Lido after its red-carpet debut: Baldwin and Davis, who played the deceased Maitlands in the 1988 horror-comedy, do not make so much as an apparition — sorry, appearance — in the follow-up.A review from the Hollywood Reporter said that “Barbara and Adam Maitland, the sweet prematurely deceased couple played by Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin, are gone, however, having found a loophole according to Lydia.” In the first film, the pair spooked the Deetz family (Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara and Jeffrey Jones). But it was always unlikely that the fictional ghost duo would be back to haunt another Day-O.“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” was in production while Baldwin, 66, was on trial for involuntary manslaughter after the shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the Santa Fe set of “Rust.” The case was tossed out by the judge in July. And it also doesn’t come as a shock that Jones, whose character Charles is said to be killed off in the sequel, doesn’t make a cameo either.

Scooter Braun trolls Taylor Swift’s star-studded Rhode Island party: ‘How was I not invited?’
$17 million Rhode Island mansion over the weekend.Braun posted a photo of the Max documentary “Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood” and wrote above the shot, “I finally watched it…”The show examined Swift, 34, and the retired music manager’s highly publicized feud over his acquisition of her masters.Braun then posted a follow-up Story that showed a TMZ Instagram post featuring pictures from the Grammy winner’s soirée, writing, “How was I not invited to this?!?”He added in the bottom corner, “#laughalittle.”Swift held a get-together in the Ocean State to celebrate her close friend Blake Lively’s 37th birthday. The guest list included Travis and Jason Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, and more.Meanwhile, fans may remember the reason why Braun wouldn’t make the cut.In June 2019, Swift published a Tumblr blog, alleging that the Hybe-America CEO had “stripped her” of her “life’s work.” “I had to make the excruciating choice to leave behind my past,” she wrote at the time.Swift also said that Braun acquiring her catalog – from her 2006 self-titled debut album through 2017’s “Reputation” – was a “worst case scenario.”“This is what happens when you sign a deal at fifteen to someone for whom the term ‘loyalty’ is clearly just a contractual concept,” she continued. “And when that man says ‘Music has value’, he means its value is beholden to men who had no part in creating it.”Meanwhile, Braun had a different version of events, telling Variety in 2021 that he asked Swift to meet with him “several times,” but she declined.“I regret [it] and it makes me sad that Taylor had that reaction to the deal,” he told the outlet.

Prince Harry returning to NYC in September, will receive additional security after ‘catastrophic’ car chase
so-called “near catastrophic” paparazzi car chase through Manhattan in May 2023.Harry and Markle found themselves at the center of a high-speed pursuit after leaving the Ziegfeld Theater in Midtown with Markle’s mother following an event. The trio were tailed by paparazzi who were unable to get any shots of the famous couple as they left the venue.Soon after, a representative for the pair claimed they “were involved in a near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi.”However, law enforcement sources described a much less dramatic ordeal, saying the chase only lasted about one hour as the family switched to a yellow cab to try to get the paps off their trail. The Sussexes ultimately didn’t file any charges over the ordeal, but the NYPD announced last year that the pair receive heightened security during their trips to the Big Apple. In a letter addressed to London’s Metropolitan Police, the NYPD intelligence chief wrote that the police force will be “enhancing the security resources afforded to the Duke and Duchess on future visits to the city.”Harry’s trip also coincides with his estranged brother Prince William’s annual Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit, which is also slated to take place on Sept. 24.While it’s unclear if William, 42, will attend this year’s summit, the heir to the throne did appear last year. The future king was in full incognito mode during a morning run through Central Park.
