Charlize Theron Admits To Being 'Bummed Out' About Starring in Action Movies Now

In a recent interview with Allure magazine, the -year-old actress admitted that lately, she’s been “bummed” out about starring in them. Keep reading to find out why that is… According to Charlize, the being “bummed out” is all do to healing from any injury she sustains. “The thing that really bums me out is that I make action movies now and if I hurt myself, I take way longer to heal than I did in my 20s,” she says. Charlize adds that “I wish I had my 25-year-old body that I can just throw against the wall and not even hurt tomorrow.
Now, if I don’t work out for three days and I go back to the gym, I can’t walk. I can’t sit down on the toilet. It’s all those very real moments.” A few years ago, Charlize had to wait two months to get treatment for a torn ligament that she suffered during filming on The Old Guard.
