Volunteers from Carers of West Lothian were delighted to welcome visitors to their fundraising afternoon tea in Bellsquarry Village Hall.Organisers said it was a great success and the 50 folk feasted on lots of sweet and savoury treats.CoWL’s patron Professor June Andrews attended and spoke about the wide range of services CoWL provides supporting unpaid carers and disabled people throughout West Lothian.The background music was barely audible amidst the happy chattering.
There was bingo, a tombola stall, and a raffle with some amazing prizes.The event was well supported by local businesses who provided prizes and subsidised the catering.Volunteers from Carers of West Lothian and Sky pulled together on the day to make it a success, raising £1569.
