A breast cancer survivor says she was made to feel "degraded" as a police officer told her to cover up her chest in her own home.

Karen Trainor had both of her breasts removed after she was diagnosed with the disease more than five years ago. The 64-year-old says she struggled at first and barely left the house after her surgery.

As she marked her journey, she decided to have her chest and back decorated with tattoos of flowers in birds as she began to build her confidence again, reports Teesside Live.But she says she has been "knocked back" after a police told her to put a top on and acted "disgusted" when he entered her Billingham home.
