BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Vito Coppola addresses 'jealously' over Ellie Leach as she gives reassurance

BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Vito Coppola was forced to address his 'jealousy' over Ellie Leach dancing with another man during last week's show as the couple sat down with Janette Manrara for Thursday evening's episode of spin-off It Takes Two.

The former Coronation Street star and her professional dance partner were quizzed about their routine for Musicals week, which saw them dance with professional extras in a quickstep inspired by Beauty and the Beast.

Host Janette was keen to learn how Ellie felt about dancing with someone other than her dance partner Vito, who she has grown close to over the course of the series, sparking rumours that the pair could be dating.

Sitting down to interview the couple, she asked Ellie: "How difficult was it dancing with somebody else?" Before she could speak, Vito butted in turning to Ellie and saying: "Come on, tell her, you enjoyed it a lot, ey?" Laughing, Ellie admitted she enjoyed herself, telling Janette: "No, it was a bit scary at first, obviously I'm so used to dancing with Vito and being in that hold with him, so to then have to dance with somebody else it was a little bit scary, but I really enjoyed it and the extra dancers are amazing." With a smirk on her face, she said: "I felt great dancing with somebody else," as Vito, with a jealous look on his face, joked: "I saw it".
