Teenage sensation Luke Littler is taking darts by storm this winter thanks to his tremendous run at the World Championship. Entering the competition unseeded, Runcorn-born Manchester United fan Littler has defied the odds to reach the semi-finals of the prestigious tournament.

The 16-year-old has already claimed the scalps of Christian Kist, Andrew Gilding and Matt Campbell before beating his idol Raymond van Barneveld 4-1.

Littler was in no mood to settle there. On New Year's Day he beat Brendan Dolan 5-1 to reach the last four of the tournament where he will take on Rob Cross.
