Air fryer owners are just discovering 'disgusting' compartment they never clean

But one woman has been left scratching her head after discovering what the top of her air fryer looked like, and how on earth she was supposed to clean it.
The Mirror reports that the video was shared on TikTok by @justcleanit, who asked her followers "How do you clean the top of an airfryer?" She shows her device with the drawer taken out and films the section above where the heating element is located - and viewers can see brown grime coating it.
The woman then attempted to wipe the heating element with some cleaning product sprayed on a piece of kitchen roll to no avail.
