As regular viewers will know, during this year’s highly anticipated Christmas Day storyline, Keanu Taylor was accidentally murdered at the Queen Vic by Linda Carter as she desperately tried to stop him from strangling Sharon Watts in a shocking turn of events.
In a double dose of chaos, Nish Panesar also arrived at the pub after his wife Suki called him to confront him over his abusive behaviour as she was determined to leave her loveless marriage once and for all to be with her girlfriend Eve Unwin.
Realising that they needed to come up with a cover story to explain Keanu’s death, The Six (Linda Carter, Denise Fox, Suki Panesar, Stacey Slater and Kathy Beale) decided that they needed to make it look as though Keanu had attacked Nish and then fled Walford for good so the police wouldn’t catch him.
Yet in a further twist, Nish was also left fighting for his life after Denise Fox struck him over the head with a bottle as he attempted to drag Suki from the pub.
