A Place in the Sun star Jean Johansson has hinted she could be taking her television career to the next level.The Scots presenter, 41, beamed for photos as she posed on the set of Emmerdale.The Greenock-born presenter has been filming a top secret project at the ITV soap.

She gave fans an insight into what she's been up to as she shared snaps on Instagram of her sitting outside the famous Woolpack pub, surrounded by cameras.In another picture, the former model leaned against the iconic Emmerdale street sign in her farmer-chic outfit, which included a beige quilted coat, a cool blue shirt and denim jeans, which were paired with camel coloured knee-high boots.It's unknown exactly why the star is loitering around the Dales set, but fans began to speculate that she was in fact joining the Dingle family.As she shared a snap, captioned: "Going behind the scenes," one fan replied: "New cast member?" while another added: "Jean Dingle?"Over on her Instagram page, Jean shared another photo and tagged the Official National Television Awards page - perhaps giving a clue she's involved in something to do with that event, which takes place on Tuesday, September 5.

Jean has been a familiar face on our screens recently as, away from her role on the Channel 4 travel show, she has appeared on the likes of This Morning and Loose Women, hosting their competition segments.

She travelled to the west coast of Scotland recently to promote the gorgeous Scottish scenery as she tucked into some Loch Fyne oysters, sipped on champagne and was also seen paddle boarding - all whilst encouraging ITV viewers to enter the competition for the chance to scoop £110,000 tax free cash.
