Helen Flanagan has proudly revealed she was wearing matching Spanx alongside her pal Ashley James as they attended the National Television Awards on Tuesday.

The mum-of-three shared an excited clip of herself on the taxi journey to the glitzy bash, with pal Scottish TV presenter Jean Johansson also heading along to London's O2 arena with the pair.Helen later shared another update to her followers on Instagram, giving a bit of 'reality' behind all the glamour. "Spanx twins @hjgflanagan," former Made In Chelsea star and presenter Ashley James wrote as she shared an image of her and the actress holding up their dresses in the toilet to reveal their body-shaping undergarments which keep everything tucked in.Helen wrote: "Waahahahaha love you," as she tagged her pal and re-share the candid snap of the pair in their heels with purses sitting on the floor alongside heart emojis.

It was a dramatic event on Tuesday, as ITV's This Morning missed out on the top gong for Best Daytime Show for the first time in 12 years to BBC rival The Repair Shop hosted by Jay Blades.Those attending on behalf of the flagship breakfast programme, including Holly Willoughby, Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, faced booing crowds at the annual event.Elsewhere, EastEnders star Bobby Brazier's dad Jeff was left in floods of tears at his 20-year-old son winning the Rising Star prize, which he dedicated to his dad in a poignant tribute.Jeff said his late mum Jade Goody would have been proud "beyond belief" at his success, with the young actor also taking to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom for its upcoming series.The late Paul O’Grady was also honoured as he won in the factual entertainment category for his show Paul O’Grady: For The Love Of Dogs.New
