Barcelona sporting director Jordi Cruyff has suggested he believes Xavi's side should have had a penalty in the Europa League clash against Manchester United on Thursday night.
Reds midfielder Fred appeared to escape a potential penalty for handling a Sergi Roberto strike late in the game. The score was level at 2-2, and both Maurizio Mariani and VAR decided not to punish the Brazilian midfielder.
Xavi was furious with the controversial call in the 2-2 draw between the two sides, and made his dissatisfaction clear. Moreover, Cruyff, who played for both United and Barcelona, also admitted that he felt the Spanish outfit should have had a penalty for the Fred handball.
