Former Manchester United player Paul Pogba could reportedly continue to feature from the bench for Juventus during their Europa League last 16 tie against Freiburg as the midfielder returns from injury.
The France international missed over 40 matches for club and country after undergoing surgery after tearing the meniscus in his right knee during the Italian club's pre-season tour of the United States of America.
Pogba, 29, has played only 36 minutes of football across two Serie A matches since returning to fitness. After coming on as a second-half substitute in the Turin derby against Torino late last month to belatedly make his second Juventus debut, that appearance was followed up by reprising a similar role in a cameo off the bench last weekend in a 1-0 loss to Jose Mourinho's Roma.
Despite that defeat, head coach Massimiliano Allegri is conscious of not overloading the World Cup winner so soon after returning.
