A Jet 2 passenger died on a flight to Britain following a desperate attempt by cabin crew to resuscitate him. The plane, which set off from Antalya, made an emergency landing at Glasgow Airport last Tuesday while passengers were "crying" and left feeling "really shaken up".

The 44-year-old passenger received CPR from cabin crew members for 40 minutes before he tragically passed away. The man, who was believed to be travelling alone, "didn't wake up" when cabin crew attempted to communicate with him.

Following this, a mid-air emergency was declared near Glasgow Airport at around 6.40pm, the Daily Record reports. Read more: Driver's £50,000 DHL criminal sting unravelled by Amazon A passenger said the man had been placed in the plane's aisle as attempts to resuscitate him took place.
