The Prince and Princess of Wales have been “raising eyebrows” with the amount of time they’ve had off, according to a royal expert.William and Kate made no secret of the fact that their three children were their “priority” this summer and they have insisted on dedicating as much time to spend with them as they could.
Along with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, they’ve spent the summer weeks so far split between their home on the Sandringham Estate at Anmer Hall, Balmoral Castle and the Caribbean island of Mustique.
A royal source told OK! Magazine last month: “William and Kate have made it very clear that their children are their priority this summer holiday.
They have blocked off much of the summer so that they can spend time with the children in the UK.” But according to Daily Express royal correspondent Richard Palmer, this has raised a few eyebrows among the rest of the family, and it could become an “issue”.Speaking on the latest episode of the Royal Round Up, the royal commentator said, though they may have been doing some work “behind the scenes”, they've had a "long, long time off" with their three kids, unlike others across the UK.He said: “I do think that is an issue for them as well.
