Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Warning over common phone charging mistake which could wear down battery

An expert has issued a warning to those who charge their mobile phones overnight, as they could be wearing down their batteries faster than usual.

While many will no doubt like to see that 100 percent bar in the corner of their screens when they wake up, charging on-the-go might be better for your phone's overall health.

This is according to Ciaran Lee, a mobile gaming expert from Casinos.win, who explained why you should charge a phone to 80 percent instead of 100.Ciaran explains: "Lithium-ion batteries which are in smartphones are degraded by charging, heat and their age."They don't like to be fully charged and by making a few small changes to the way you charge your phone you can help maintain the battery and keep your phone for longer."Essentially, every time you charge your phone to 100 percent you complete a charging cycle, and your phone will be designed to carry out a set number of cycles before you have to replace your battery.

Instead you shouldn't allow your device to go below 20 percent or above 80 percentCiaran says: "Checking if your phone is at a certain battery charge is going to become tiresome very fast, instead of checking your phone manually you can set up an automation on newer phones which alerts you when your battery percentage goes below or above a certain level."Similarly, another mistake that many might unknowingly make is using their device while it's charging - as this could also harm the phone battery.Ciaran comments: "Using your phone while charging it will cause the phone to become hot and cause damage to your battery.
