Two men appear in court charged with causing death of woman, 70, by dangerous driving

Two men have appeared in court charged with causing the death of a woman in south Manchester. Mohamed Mahamoud, 36, and Mahad Ciid, 54, are accused of causing the death of 70-year-old Joan Spence on Princess Road in Moss Side on July, 29, 2021 Mr Mahamoud, of West Grove, Manchester is charged with causing her death by driving a Toyota Auris dangerously and Mr Ciid, of Pickford Court, Clayton Close, Old Trafford, with causing her death by driving a Skoda Octavia dangerously. No pleas were requested and the case was sent to Manchester Crown Court during the short hearing. They are due to appear there for a further hearing on Wednesday, July, 19. READ NEXT
