Tommy Dorfman to Make Broadway Debut in 'Romeo & Juliet' Opposite Rachel Zegler
justjared.comTommy Dorfman and Rachel Zegler will be making their Broadway debuts together! It was just announced that Tommy has been cast in the duel role of The Nurse and Tybalt in the upcoming production of Romeo & Juliet, which is being led by Rachel and Heartstopper actor Kit Connor.
Tony nominee Gabby Beans will play the dual role of Mercutio and The Friar. Rehearsals for the upcoming Broadway production, directed by Tony winner Sam Gold, have just begun ahead of the first performance on September 26.
The production will play a strictly limited 16-week engagement at the Circle in the Square Theatre. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to be starting today with this brilliant ensemble.
In the play, there are two households, but for us in the room, it really feels like one family,” Sam said in a statement.
