Coronation Street fans think they have spotted a 'clue' that Carla Connor may be interested in a romance with DS Lisa Swain.
Viewers of the ITV soap have been hoping for love to blossom between the pair for months. It was back in May that they first went wild over scenes between Carla, played by Alison King, and Swain, played by Vicky Myers.
They saw the detective sergeant discovering that Carla covered for her nephew Bobby Crawford when he lied in a police statement over who he saw when Lauren Bolton disappeared in a bid to aid Roy Cropper's prison release.
And despite Swain being the reason Carla's friend was behind bars at the time, over the suspected murder of the missing teen, who has since been confirmed to be alive and is back in Weatherfield, Carla was seen being sympathetic to the stressed-out detective and mum.
