Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly plotting another 'faux royal' circuit before the year ends.Hot on the heels of their jaunts to Colombia and Nigeria earlier this year, their upcoming trip has been labelled a 'quasi-royal tour'.

Speaking about Prince Harry, an insider told Hello!: "That's his world; that's what he's used to."According to the publication, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be eyeing up Lesotho and Botswana for their next visit, where Harry's charity Sentebale is active. The prince, who is set to celebrate his 40th birthday next week, has not set foot in these nations since 2019, the Express reports.

The news comes as the Sussexes' recent Colombian tour in August sparked backlash after local media reported that their visit cost the country a whopping £1.5m (8billion pesos) just for Harry and Meghan's security.Invited over by Vice President Francia Marquez, the former royal couple were accorded full security measures throughout their stay. This level of protection comes after their decision to step down from royal duties in 2020 which means they no longer undertake official overseas visits on behalf of the UK Government.

Marquez is associated with the left-leaning Historic Pact for Colombia coalition.Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. You'll receive daily updates on breaking news as well as the top headlines across Scotland. No one will be able to see who is signed up and no one can send messages except the Daily Record team. All you have to do is click here if you're on mobile, select 'Join Community' and you're in!If you're on a desktop, simply scan the QR code above with your phone and click 'Join Community'.We also treat our
