A third man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged attempted murder at a Glasgow shop.Police were called to the scene on Ladymuir Crescent on Sunday, August 13, following reports of an incident allegedly involving a firearm and a knife.A 35-year-old man was found badly injured and rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Medics described his injuries as being serious but not life-threatening.A 40-year-old man has now been charged by police in connection with the incident.
Two others, both aged 34, were arrested on Friday as part of a proactive operation in Glasgow’s Elmbank Street.All three are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday and a report has been submitted to prosecutors.A statement from Police Scotland said: “A third man, aged 40, has been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a man in Glasgow.
The incident happened on Sunday, August 13, in the Ladymuir Crescent area of Pollok.“Two men, both aged 34, who were arrested as part of a proactive operation in Elmbank Street, Glasgow, on Friday, August 25, have subsequently been charged.“All three are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, August 28.
