Police make arrest after man found seriously injured near Paisley school

Police are appealing for information after a man was found seriously injured in a Paisley street last night.Officers were called to Jarvie Way where they discovered the 35-year-old near Heriot Primary School.

He was taken to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and later released.Police say they have arrested and charged a man in connection with the incident but have urged all those with information, and people with CCTV and dash-cam footage, to come forward.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.40pm on Monday, September 4, we received a report of a man having been found seriously injured on Jarvie Way in Paisley.“Emergency services attended.

The 35-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and released following treatment.“A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
