The distinctive row of pretty Victorian terraces on Anita Street is one of the most photographed in Greater Manchester, and it's easy to see why.
Tucked away behind Blossom Street and Oldham Road, the picturesque homes weren't actually built to look pretty, but were in fact council houses originally constructed to help tackle Manchester’s 19th century housing crisis.
Out of 36 properties on the street, 18 are still owned and managed by the council today. The exterior of the houses is still in original condition, evoking nostalgia for anyone passing through.
