Everton legend Peter Reid has slammed the Toffees' Financial Fair Play (FFP) punishment considering the mountain of debt being built up by the Glazers at Manchester United.
Just over a week ago, the Merseyside club were handed a ten point deduction by the Premier League after they were found guilty of breaking profit and sustainability rules.
An independent panel reached the conclusion Everton had overspent by roughly £20m which saw them susceptible to a punishment.
However, the manner of the punishment has been deemed harsh by the Toffees who have now slipped into the relegation zone. Protests are planned for today's match at Goodison Park against United and Sean Dyche's side are appealing the decision.
