Scarlett Mew Jensen and Yasmin Harper have made history by becoming Team GB's first medalists at the Paris Olympic Games, securing bronze in the women's synchronised 3m springboard diving after a nail-biting finale. The dynamic duo had a 12-point deficit to overcome against Australia in the final round.
But after delivering an impressive performance, they watched as the Aussie team plummeted to fifth place due to a disastrous final dive.
In a unique twist, there were no heats during the event in Paris, with selected teams diving straight into the final. Mew Jensen and Harper started strong, sitting in silver medal position after the first round, with China leading the pack.
However, they slipped below the United States team after their second dive, ending up tied with Germany for the bronze medal spot.
