I’ve done enough worrying in my life.“I’ve chosen to change the way you think. Try and live in the present and accept what’s going on around me.“I’m concerned about our future and the West in general.“But I refuse to worry and let it take over my life.”John, a father of three with partner Carol Fletcher – a former Hot Gossip dancer – is clearly a doting and very proud grandfather to Cherry.As a new grandfather of course he is worried about the world his granddaughter will inherit.
He said: “I feel so sorry for younger people today. In a way I feel my generation has failed them. “We need a new form of politics to make some changes and stop money drifting to the top of society which it’s been doing for a long time now.“We are now reaping the consequences of that movement of capital away from ordinary working people right to the very, very top of society where people are so rich they don’t actually know what to do with it.“It’s a crazy situation.
