STREETrave made a stunning Ayr comeback for a show that was 30 years in the making on Sunday. The pioneers, took over the Low Green for a throwback to the heyday of the late 80s and 90s, where they once called Ayr Pavilion their home. The promoters brought back with them an all-star line-up from that era, with icons and powerhouse DJs taking over.It was day two of Ayr's first ever dance music festival after Ewan McVicar played the gig of his dreams, headlining Pavilion Festival to a crowd of 7,500.A smaller crowd of 5,000 flowed through the gates on Sunday to be greeted by Ayrshire's very own Bob Jefferies who opened the bash.Ayr was hit with the first downpour of the weekend, but die-hard fans danced in their ponchos as the early acts including world renowned Roger Sanchez kept the party going. The sun burst out from the clouds as legends Soul II Soul took to the stage.

The big tunes returned into the night with Utah Saints kicking off the final acts. The crowd were then treated to a symbolic moment when Inner City, the band who last headlined the Ayr Pavilion in 1993, took to the stage.

The Detroit heroes brought the Big Fun back to seaside town, with tracks 'Big Fun' and 'Good Life' teeing the crowd up for the headliner Altern8.

It was at that moment that the biggest kept secret of the day was let out, as Ewan McVicar unveiled himself on stage disguising himself as one of the masked up ravers.
