Road tragedy as man dies after horror single-vehicle crash in Ayrshire
dailyrecord.co.ukA man has died after a single-vehicle crash in Ayrshire.Cops were alerted to to the incident, involving a green Land Rover Defender on the B7035, Girvan to Dailly Road, around 7.30pm on Saturday, July, 27.Emergency services scrambled to the scene but the 37-year-old male driver was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.The road was shut for almost 12 hours to allow investigations to be carried out and re-opened around 7.45am this morning, Sunday, July, 28.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. Sergeant Brian Simpson said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at this difficult time. “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash and who has not already spoken to officers to get in touch.
