The family of a man who died after falling from a tower block balcony in Salford have paid tribute to a 'loving' dad. Police raced to Black Friar Court at 8.42pm on Sunday (August 11) following reports that a man had fallen from a balcony on the fourth floor.

A murder investigation was launched after the man was pronounced dead on the scene. The victim has today (August 15) been named as William Waheed Lyall by Greater Manchester Police.

The 57-year-old has been described by his loved ones as a 'loving, strong' dad-of-three who 'worked tirelessly' for his family.
