Public Enemy’s Flavor Flav has helped raise money to bring a US Paralympian’s parents to attend the Paris Games.Flavor Flav, who has been an ardent supporter of the Olympics this year, has now lended his hand once again – this time to Nick Mayhugh, a sprinter due to compete at the Paralympics this year.

Mayhugh has previously won three gold medals at the Tokyo Games; however, due to the pandemic, his parents could not attend. Now, the rapper has taken to X/Twitter to share Mayhugh’s GoFundMe, writing: “Imagine spending 18 years taking ya kid to every practice and game and working 2-3 jobs to buy equipment, and then not being able to watch them play the biggest game of they life.”Flav’s callout meant that Mayhugh reached his goal within a day of having his campaign shared by the Public Enemy star.

Flavor Flav went on to reveal he has helped fully fund 35 Olympian and Paralympian GoFundMe campaigns this year.THIS is just one of the many @gofundme for the @Olympics and @Paralympics that I support.
