BBC Radio 4 listeners were left stunned after an expletive-filled interview today (January 2). Home Secretary James Cleverly appeared on the station today with presenter Mishal Husain to discuss some of the accusations over controversial things he's recently said.
One that stood out was a discussion over claims that he used the word "s***hole" in Parliament in reference to Stockton. Mr Cleverly has consistently denied using the expletive towards the County Durham town.

In the interview, which aired at 8.20am, after being asked if he had or had not said the word 's***hole', he said: "I made it very very clear what I said I was referring to an individual." Husain clarified: "But you said the word 's***' didn't you?" which he confirmed he did.
