Reports suggest that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had to give up a £2.5m home in the UK.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly had a two-year tenure on an estate in the Cotswolds, with the lease supposedly being signed just prior to their nuptials in May 2018.Subsequent to tying the knot, Harry and Meghan relocated to Frogmore Cottage, post a refurbishment of the Windsor property.
According to reports, while awaiting completion of renovations, the Sussexes took up residence in the Oxfordshire estate, which was valued at over £2.5m back in 2018.
The Grade II listed abode is comprised of three main constructions: the core farmhouse; a detached two-bedroom cottage catering to staff and guests; and a reworked barn hosting a kitchen on each of its two floors.
The central farmhouse flaunts four bedrooms, reports the Mirror. A pal of Harry and Meghan professed that the couple "loved walking the dogs there and entertaining their friends in complete solitude" at this Oxfordshire retreat.
