Police have ended inquiries after Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien was caught up in an altercation involving two girls outside her home.
The 40-year-old was caught up in a fight between two teenagers near to her home in Bramhall, Stockport, on March 15. Video footage obtained by The Sun showed the actress being hit and having her hair pulled after 'attempting to break up' the brawl.
She was also seen putting one of the girls in a headlock after the teenager had kicked out at the other youngster. The actress, known for playing Sarah Platt on ITV's famous cobbles, could be heard at one stage in the video to say: "Stop, I just said, stop." Greater Manchester Police confirmed at the time it was investigating 'reports of an assault' taking place between 8pm and 9pm on March 15. It's understood police have now ended their enquiries. A spokesperson for Tina told The Sun last month: "Tina was the victim of an unprovoked incident outside her home which she has reported to the police." The M.E.N.
