manchestereveningnews.co.ukCoronation Street star Jack Carroll has been wished well as he was seen ditching the UK after a busy time on the cobbles. The actor and comedian joined the ITV soap earlier this year as Bobby, the nephew of Weatherfield favourite Carla Connor.
Bobby is the son of Carla’s brother Rob Donovan. Rob is serving life in prison for the murder of Tina McIntyre and was unaware he had a son until recently, but hadn’t managed to let Carla know.
But he's since made himself comfortable as his auntie's flat, even bagging himself a job at the Underworld factory. However, Bobby has since found himself caught up in a missing person case after his new love interest Lauren Bolton disappeared back in February and is now suspected to have been murdered. However, after overhearing what happened with Roy in court, Bobby decided he needed to take action and went to the police to give a false witness statement about the night of Lauren's disappearance, insisting he had seen him in her flat when he arrived there - but it wasn't Roy.
