And as a self-proclaimed ‘Rangers’ man’ himself, he’s set out to redouble the efforts of not just himself but everyone behind the scenes in an attempt pull the club out of the doom spiral which appears to be their current trajectory.Be it the gross overspend that saw the club lose £10.5million last year before player-trading was accounted for or the fact that year after year, the club fails to cash in on it’s playing assets, Bennett admits vast improvements are needed.
So it goes too with performances on the pitch if Philippe Clement is to avoid the fate that befell Gio van Bronckhorst and Michael Beale.
