And he could have doubled the lead shortly after as Ayr looked to take total control before the interval.Brown's men played with an air of confidence after the break knowing they had the man advantage and in truth they were never troubled as they managed the game towards its conclusion.The lively Rus sent an effort over the bar and George Stanger headed wide from a corner as the hosts looked to kill it.
