Parents were left 'shocked' when an after school club announced it will no longer be running after 24 years. An email from West End Kids Club was sent to parents that it will soon close after the local school it was operating from 'sought to increase their rent.' The headteacher of Denton West End Primary School released an email to parents on Tuesday stating that they were unaware of the club's plans to close, the rise in rent was 'necessary' and that there plans in place to continue the running of the service.
