Married at First Sight's Luke claims ex was going to gatecrash and stop his wedding

Married at First Sight UK returned to screens on Monday night and we got a glimpse of the first two couples heading to the altar to begin their journey on the Channel 4 show in a bid to find love.It seemed like a match made in heaven between sales workers Luke Worley and Jay Howard who had an instant connection when they first laid eyes on each other.Jay Howard, 31, admitted she had been feeling incredibly apprehensive before the big day due to being born with just one arm.

However, her husband Luke, 30, said he only saw her "beauty" as she walked down the aisle and her disability wasn't an issue. "She's absolutely beautiful.

No one would guess we were strangers a few hours ago I feel so comfortable around her, she just lit up the room," Luke said reflecting on the pair's first meeting as they enjoyed their wedding reception.

However, Luke also said his disgruntled ex-partner wasn't happy when she found out he was appearing on the reality dating show and declared she was going to put a stop to the wedding going ahead.He told Heart FM at the official Married At First Sight Press Launch: "My ex wasn't happy when she found out, she said she was going to try and turn up and stop the wedding, that would have been funny to watch!"Luke also teased there is some upcoming drama and explosive arguments to come as he spoke about the notorious dinner parties."When the drama kicks off, it kicks off!
