Manchester Airport is preparing for a busy day in the aftermath of chaos caused by the air traffic control glitch. Passengers are being warned to expect busy terminals than usual today (August 29) as airlines deal with a backlog caused by Monday's NATS air traffic issue.
So far this morning, 17 flights have been cancelled from Manchester's departures, while a further 26 have been delayed. Further disruption is expected throughout the course of the day.
In a statement issued this morning, passengers are being urged to check the latest on their flights before they arrive at Manchester Airport.
