Motherwell boss Stuart Kettlewell isn’t worried about his side heading to Ibrox to face Rangers on Sunday – because even in defeat they’re playing well. The Steelmen lost their 10-game unbeaten Premiership run as St Mirren ran out 1-0 winners at Fir Park on Saturday, courtesy of Scott Tanser’s volley.Kettlewell felt Motherwell were the better side on the day and deserved more, but says that can be looked on as a good position to be in.Motherwell follow their trip to Ibrox with a visit by Celtic on September 30, and Kettlewell said: “It’s going to be two really tough games in the next couple of fixtures.“Rangers at Ibrox is the next one we’ve got, it’s as simple as that.“That’s what’s on the fixture list, so we’ll play it the same way we do with every single one.“We’ll come up with a game plan that we think can affect it.“But the other side of it is that if we perform the way we did on Saturday, I don’t worry about us, I think we’ll win more often than we lose, and that’s a position that we want to be in as a club.”The Steelmen passed up a host of chances, with 20 shots on goal in the defeat to Saints, and substitute Georgie Gent struck the crossbar with a fierce shot, but Motherwell couldn’t make the break-through.Kettlewell said: “We have to convert a couple of the chances that we got.“Oli Shaw saw the whites of the goalkeeper’s eyes, Georgie Gent crashes one off the underside of the bar and it doesn’t quite fall to Bevis Mugabi.“Callum Slattery is breaking through on goal in the first half.“We have to be more clinical when we get into those positions, but it’s another stat – what is it, 20-odd shots on goal we had, and I would say we have to make sure we convert at least one of those, potentially more.”Kettlewell says
