‘Man on Fire’ Series at Netflix Casts Bobby Cannavale (EXCLUSIVE)
variety.comJoe Otterson TV Reporter Bobby Cannavale will appear in a guest star role in the upcoming “Man on Fire” series adaptation at Netflix, Variety has learned exclusively.
The eight-episode series is based on the A.J. Quinnell novel of the same name, which was the first of Quinnell’s novels to feature the character Marcus Creasy.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will star in the series as Creasy, “once a high-functioning and skilled Special Forces Mercenary, known for surviving even the most desolate of situations, Creasy is now plagued with intense PTSD,” per the official logline. “Determined to overcome his personal demons, he sets out on a path to redemption.
But, before he can adjust to this new life, he finds himself back in the fire, fighting harder than ever.” Billie Boullet is also set to appear in the series.
