Man charged with spate of offences after police called to 'disturbance'

A man has been charged with multiple offences after police were called to a 'disturbance' in Salford. Officers were called to the incident on Manchester Road in Swinton at around 6.50pm on Saturday (May 27), police said.

Jake Vaughan, of Wood Lane, Worsley, has now been charged in connection with the investigation. The 28-year-old has been charged with Section 18 assault causing grievous bodily harm, possession of a bladed article and driving whilst disqualified.
